Mexico’s government and the textile sector

How is Mexico’s government driving the textile sector?

Mexico’s economy has a positive influence thanks to the textile sector, which activity generates profits and thousands of job sources for Mexican people each year, the government is aware of this and it is why they are searching new ways to promote innovation, financing and a better level of competency on this sector.

“The textile sector has been a very important part of the economy, so it is excellent news to see how the Mexican government is working already to make the textile and clothing sectors to be more productive”, thinks Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal, a Mexican entrepreneur and current president of Grupo Denim, a jeans manufacturer in this country.

Mexico’s government has announced the three main axes that will help them driving the textile sector to a different level, by supporting the quality, innovation and competitiveness; customs measures against the unfair competition and new financing products for the entrepreneurs on this sector, everything in order to make the textile sector increase in Mexico.

The government has also announced that Hidalgo will be the first benefited state.

Among the changes proposed by the government against the unfair competition, they will implement new measurements on prices for raw materials, the new sectoral register for the clothing and textile sectors and the pilot program about tariff issues.

The textile sector will also see other positive changes such as the hedging program for cotton purchasing, as well as reinforcement of the financing scheme to internationalize the textile products.

“Textile industry has suffered illegal trades that damage the established companies, so hopefully these new changes and measurements will help to disappear these illegal practices, which will benefit the textile companies, who are constantly creating more jobs which benefits the Mexican families”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal.

Deal With A Coworker You Can’t Stand

How To Deal With A Coworker You Can’t Stand

The psychologists asked workers to describe those difficult individuals using an adjective checklist. They discovered the difficult coworkers had similar characteristics to various personality disorders, the diagnostic manual used by psychiatrists and psychologist.

Working with exceedingly difficult people isn’t uncommon. But it can be a major distraction at work, sapping the joy out of an otherwise good work experience.

If you’re in a situation where you’re working with someone you dislike, then try these methods of coping.

Sometimes, people set us off because they remind us of someone we dislike elsewhere in our lives. It could be an expression or mannerism that reminds you of your impossible ex or an estranged family member something of which you’re not even aware. Once you realize it’s the reminder and not the person you can’t stand, it may be easier to cope.

If certain communication styles or actions are a problem for you, state your case calmly to make your needs known. Avoid accusatory language and instead try the “When . . . I feel . . .” formula. For example, tell that person: “When you cut me off in meetings, I feel like you don’t value my contributions.”

Then, wait for a response. You may find out that the other person didn’t realize you weren’t finished speaking, or your colleague was so excited about your idea that he or she enthusiastically jumped into the conversation.

It’s also not uncommon for people to have unrealistic expectations about coworkers. We may expect them to act just as we would or say the things that we might say in certain situations. That’s just not realistic.

People have ingrained personality traits that are going to largely determine how they react. Expecting others to do as you would do is setting yourself up for disappointment and frustration.

“Understanding the behavior will help you identify the root of the problem and will likely help you build a strategy for having a more productive relationship with the person” says Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.

Dressing properly will make you look more successful

Dressing up properly will make you look more successful, confident and creative

We have always been told that in order to be successful we need to work very hard, look for opportunities, be creative and so many things more. But, do we really have more chances to succeed by dressing up properly?

Recent studies have proved that we will not only feel more confident when using our favorite outfit but we will give the impression of being intelligent, trusted and even powerful.

So, how do we need to dress in order to accomplish that? The answer is very simple, test different styles and colors that you could try and know how you feel and also to check out other people reactions.

It is important to remark that we are not changing our identity in order to make happy the other people, it is just to give some minutes to your outfit so you could have the image you would like to have all day long.

A person that dress up properly, will always be considered as a person that care about little details; therefore, it is a responsible person. Usually those persons are ones that get the better jobs, combined with experience and a great attitude of course.

As a president of Grupo Denim, Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal is always well dressed, that is why he is considered such a great and successful businessman. “I have always care about my outfit since I was very young, I couldn’t talk about business to other people without having the correct outfit, they wouldn’t take me seriously. My business is important; therefore, I need to dress accordingly. I do wear jeans, I like them so much but I would always dress in my suit at a business meeting”, said Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal.

Many people is looking for the newest trends in order to keep up with fashion, looking at the last runaways and looking for tips to combine their clothes, and this time we will help you with important advices so you do not have to spend extra money in new garments.

“Denim is a timeless type of fabric, and that is one of the main advantages of buying this type of fabric, the garments made of denim are always a part of the fashion trends, no matter what the season is”, thinks Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.

For 2016 Spring and Summer, we will see some colors and prints on the garments made of denim, with designers daring to create new type of styles on jeans, jumpers, shorts and skirts, and it is very reasonable that they think of this textile fist, as in Mexico, for example, denim pants are the most sold type of garment, reaching a 30% of the total sales on the clothing market, which generate total earnings for around $7,850 mdd on sales in this country.

Jeans will be part of the trends during Spring and Summer this year; this popular garment invented on 1871 has reinvented itself so much that everyone has more than just once pair of jeans on their wardrobes.

Talking about trends, it is important to pick up those garments that are not only up with fashion, but those clothes that you will feel comfortable with, and denim clothes offer you both, they look great, are easy to combine and most importantly, they are easy to wear.

We will see bright colors, prints and distresses jeans for 2016 Spring and Summer, so get ready for the new fashion styles that are coming on these two seasons.

“Denim trends evolve each season, garments made of this fabric are more popular each day as designers and final consumers have noticed how resistant and comfortable it is”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, about this topic.

Untreated denim

Untreated denim, a new option for fashion styles

Denim, a resistant fabric that has been active since it was first invented has been modified to create different designs on all type of garments, but now we are looking at new options on the runways with untreated denim garments, with neater and minimalist styles.

“We all like denim so much that it is hard not to have at least one garment made of this versatile fabric in our wardrobes”, said Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim, a jeans manufacturer company in Mexico.

The untreated denim has come to be a masterful reinvention from being a material used for garments to be worn by workers; the untreated denim is now a great option that combines perfectly rough and elegant styles in one.

The untreated denim garments have been on the runways for a few seasons, but nowadays it seems to be a trend, as designers have used this material to create 90’s styles, rescuing the perfect essence of denim with neat fits, making these garments elegant and sophisticated.

Some of the most important designers have decided to play with untreated denim as this seems to reflect the nature of this fabric and have worked to make their garments in a way that reflects the rudeness of a raw material with the elegance of a well designed garment.

If you want to try these garments made of untreated denim, I would advise to wear culotte’s jeans and fraying hems, combine them with boots and a shirt that complements your outfit.

“One of the other advantages of the untreated denim is that its original color will stay longer as it has not been previously washed, this is an excellent option for the persons who are searching for new ways of wearing denim”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal about this topic.

Choosing baby clothes

Choosing baby clothes, avoid mistakes

When you need to buy baby or child garments, there are some things to avoid and some points to review.  Let’s see!

Synthetic Fabrics

We need to take care of our baby skin; synthetic fabrics might cause painful rash or other skin issues. The best option is cotton or other organic fabrics.

Some moms could think that buttons may be so cute but not for baby clothing.  Although some brands have high quality standards for baby clothing, there’s always the risk of the buttons may fall off and everybody gets crazy when a button is loose; therefore, the safest way to avoid this situation is not to buy clothes with unnecessary buttons at least until your baby is three years old.

Rough Stitching

Rough stitching or rough fabrics can irritate the delicate skin of your baby. Babies need to be comfortable, especially when starting crawling.  Also check rough patches before buying any baby clothing.

Lace clothing is so cute but keep it just for special occasions, be precautious and avoid your baby fingers from being stuck inside the lace, remember that all body parts are extremely young and the babies could hurt themselves.

We all love denim and would like to see our babies dress in our favorite clothing and it is possible but always check that the clothes are made in a light denim, because like we’ve said, baby’s comfort is the most important think to check when choosing garments for your baby.

Grupo Denim, a famous maquiladora from Mexico, is known for being a company that really follows the highest quality standards procedures, especially on baby or child production. “kids production has always been one of my favorites, seeing kids dress in the latest denim trends but being comfortable at the same time, is something that makes all at Grupo Denim so proud of our team work”, said an enthusiastic Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of the company.

Measure Jeans

How To Measure Jeans

How To Measure Jeans

If you learn how to measure jeans correctly, you will always be able to find a pair that fits you perfectly. Measure jeans that fit you well and you will have a guide for any other pair you are considering purchasing just compare the measurements to see if the new jeans will fit.

To measure jeans, you will need:

  • pair of jeans that fit.
  • tape measure
  • pen and paper to record the measurements

How to Measure Jeans:

  1. Start with jeans that fit you and are clean and dry. Lay the jeans out on a flat surface like a dining room table or the floor.
  2. Stretch the tape measure from one side of the waistband to the other. Measure along the back of the jeans, not the front. The front may dip down a bit; most men’s jeans have a “dip” in the front of about an inch, women’s can have anywhere from one to eight inches.
  3. Record this measurement on a piece of paper.
  4. Multiply the waist measurement by two to get the actual width of the waist. So, if the back of your waistband measured eighteen inches, then your total waist measurement is 36 inches. This may be a different figure from your jeans size. Record this measurement.
  5. Measure the rise measurement. The rise is the distance from the crotch seam (where the leg seams intersect with the fly seams) to waistband. Use the tape measure and record both the distance from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband at the front and at the back. Some jeans have a bigger rise size than others. If you have ever tried on a pair of jeans that was your size, but didn’t fit right, it is likely that the rise measurement is to blame.
  6. Measure the inseam. The inseam runs from the crotch seam to the hem of the jeans. This measurement will likely be between 28 inches and 36 inches, unless you are very tall or very short. Record this measurement.

The president of Grupo Denim, Salomón Juan Marcos Villarreal said “Keep these measurements handy the next time you shop or try on a pair at a resale or vintage shop. Don’t rely on the label accurate measurements are the best way to ensure a good fit, so give yourself about ten minutes to measure jeans accurately”.
