How to quit your job, the best way to do it
Most of the professionals decide to quit their jobs because of their bosses; however, it is important to leave the doors open and the better way is to be a professional; here are some tips for your reference:
Let your boss know ahead of time (at least two weeks) that you’re leaving the company, if you’re a manager do it one month earlier.
Remember, do not talk in a bad way about your boss, regardless the relationship, and talk about your reasons for leaving the company.
It is important that you plan everything so there are no pending, if you can train someone before you leave it would be even better. If you don’t do this, it could affect the process and productivity of the company.
The notice must be in person, no emails or text messages. You will still be an employee and labor references will be needed so you need to be serious.
Do not say bad things about the firms you’re worked for before, it will work against you as a professional, better speak well about your bosses, this is a very good thing to build an excellent employee reputation, and it will definitely open future doors. Always be thankful.
